Mediven® lymph pads may be used either under the bandage of a compression dressing or under compression stockings. They have a loosening effect on hardened connective tissue, known as fibrosis, which occurs particularly in lymphedema. Together with the correct degree of compression, lymph pads act like a gentle form of drainage and stimulate the microcirculation in the tissues. The flow of lymph away from the tissues is increased.
